The delegation from the University included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Thach (Party Committee Secretary), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector), and Dr. Tran Bach Hieu (University Youth Union Secretary).
At the reception, the Head of the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board, Nguyen Dai Thang, shared information about the epidemic prevention and control situation. Immediately after receiving information about the new developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 16/CT-TTg, the Management Board reviewed the student population, approached and visited them to understand their circumstances, and found ways to alleviate the difficulties they were facing.
Mr. Nguyen Dai Thang reported on the situation regarding epidemic prevention and control and support for students at Me Tri Dormitory.
Students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and international students, are provided with essential supplies and facilitated with on-site living arrangements. Awareness campaigns and outreach efforts are also implemented to ensure students comply with social distancing and disease prevention regulations. The Management Board has also established checkpoints to control the flow of people entering and leaving the dormitory.

On behalf of the University, Associate Professor Pham Xuan Thach (Party Committee Secretary) commended the dedication and close attention of the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board in epidemic prevention and control, as well as ensuring living and accommodation conditions for students. The University hopes that the staff and students in the dormitory will continue to work together to overcome the current difficulties caused by the pandemic.
Associate Professor Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector of the University) presents a gift to student Hoang Thi Thu Phuong (Faculty of International Studies).
Following that, the school's leadership proceeded to present support packages to 223 resident students at the Me Tri dormitory; each package was worth 300,000 VND and will be transferred to each student's bank account.
Two students, Inpeng Lattana (Faculty of Anthropology) and Hoang Thi Thu Phuong (Faculty of International Studies), represented the resident students in receiving the gifts. They expressed their joy and gratitude for the care and support from the teachers and the School's leadership. This small gift will be a valuable encouragement for them to maintain their spirits, overcome difficulties, and return to their studies after the pandemic is under control.
