First of all, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi would like to express our deep gratitude to you, our benefactors, for your enthusiastic support for our students during the period of social isolation to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic.
From April 9, 2020, the School started to implement the volunteer activity "Teachers and students join hands to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic" to help provide food and necessities to students from other provinces who are having difficulty staying in Hanoi to study online in the spirit of "Temporarily stop going to school - do not stop studying" of the education sector.
It is touching and joyful that the School's viewpoint is widely encouraged and shared by the community. In just the first 2 weeks of implementation (from April 9 to April 21), the School has received contributions from more than 148 groups and individuals with: 175,800,000 VND in cash, 3.7 tons of rice, 512 boxes of instant noodles, 7,500 eggs, 89 boxes of sausages, 36 boxes of juice, 46 boxes of milk, 300 gifts, dozens of boxes of various foods and 820 masks...
Thanks to these valuable supports, the School has delivered 2 gifts to nearly 600 students (including foreign students) with a total of 1,180 gifts. What is even more heartwarming is that the staff and students of the School voluntarily delivered these gifts to the students. In the coming time, the remaining gifts will continue to be delivered to all students with difficult circumstances returning to school after the epidemic season.
