The victory on April 30, 1975 was a great feat, a historical miracle of the Vietnamese people. It was the last battle in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign - the peak of the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1975, putting an end to the war, opening a new era - a period of peace and national reunification. Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thanh Hung - former Lecturer, Former Vice President of the Veterans Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU - shared his emotional thoughts on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
