This is
Practical activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025); to remember and express gratitude for the great sacrifices and victories of our army and people, thereby raising awareness of the value of freedom and national independence.
The exhibition and seminar provide an opportunity for scholars, researchers, and students to exchange and discuss historical issues, promote research and academic cooperation; it serves as a forum for scholars and researchers inside and outside the university to connect, share research works, promote cooperative relationships in the field of social sciences and humanities, create opportunities for faculty and students to further expand their academic network; and enhance the university's position and influence in society.
This also provides an opportunity for students and the community to gain a clearer understanding of the struggle for independence and national reunification. This is an important step in orienting comprehensive education, closely linked to patriotism, national pride, and the responsibility of preserving the country's historical values for the younger generation.
The two books, "Perspectives from History: Perfecting Vietnamese Values in the New Era" and "April 30, 1975 - 50 Years Later," provide insightful historical research on the events of April 30, 1975, while encouraging interest and passion for historical research within the academic community; creating opportunities for academic exchange and promoting research.
As a leading research, training, and knowledge dissemination center in the social sciences and humanities nationwide, organizing activities to celebrate major national holidays demonstrates the University of Social Sciences and Humanities' commitment to pioneering its mission of research, training, and knowledge dissemination in the social sciences and humanities in general; preserving and promoting the historical and cultural values of the nation in particular; and leading the way in contributing to the community.
