University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU

After 4 days of urgent, serious and effective work by the External Assessment Team, on October 14, 2025, Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized the closing ceremony of the official external assessment survey of 04 university-level training programs including: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies, Cultural Studies.

Four university training programs were officially surveyed and assessed for quality according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training, including: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies, and Cultural Studies.

On the morning of September 26, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with Thang Long Quality Assessment Center, organized a preliminary external assessment survey (online) of 04 university-level training programs: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies and Cultural Studies.

This is the theme of the International Scientific Conference jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the Korean Studies Institute (AKS) - Korea on the morning of August 29, 2025.

Within the framework of the project "Korean Studies in Northern Vietnam: Sharing and Development", teachers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities brought to students of Le Thanh Tong High School (Ha Long, Quang Ninh) an academic space and multi-dimensional experience of Korean cultural identity on August 15, 2025.

The Korean Government Scholarship for Graduate Studies is a prestigious scholarship awarded by the Korean Government for international undergraduates who wish to study at the graduate level at leading universities and research institutes in this country. On August 22, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a working session with a delegation from Hoseo University to continue signing a memorandum of cooperation in training and research between the two training institutions.

That is Hoang Thi Bich Phuong, born in 1996, a former student of class 59 majoring in Korean Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. Bich Phuong currently works at VTC Digital Television as an editor and MC.

On February 18, 2021, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector in charge of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) had a reception for Mr. Jaejin Choi, the new Chief Representative of the Korea Foundation in Vietnam.
