University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

After four days of urgent, serious, and effective work by the External Evaluation Team, on October 14, 2025, the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, held the closing ceremony of the official external evaluation survey for four undergraduate programs: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies, and Cultural Studies.

Four undergraduate programs were officially surveyed and evaluated for quality according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies, and Cultural Studies.

On the morning of September 26, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the Thang Long Quality Accreditation Center, conducted a preliminary external evaluation survey (online) for four undergraduate programs: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies, and Cultural Studies.

This was the theme of the international scientific conference jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Central Institute of Korean Studies (AKS) - South Korea on the morning of August 29, 2025.

As part of the project "Korean Studies in Northern Vietnam: Sharing and Development," faculty members from the Department of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, provided students of Le Thanh Tong High School (Ha Long, Quang Ninh) with a multifaceted academic and experiential space showcasing Korean cultural identity on August 15, 2025.

The Korean Government Graduate Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship awarded by the Korean government to international candidates who have graduated with a bachelor's degree and wish to pursue graduate studies at leading universities and research institutions in the country. To better understand the journey to winning this scholarship, let's follow the sharing of two former Korean Studies students who successfully received the Korean Government Scholarship in 2024.

This was the content discussed and exchanged at a scientific seminar with the participation of three universities: the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Ha Long University; and Thai Nguyen University of Science, held on April 5, 2024.

On August 22nd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a meeting with a delegation from Hoseo University to discuss the continuation of the cooperation agreement in training and research between the two institutions.

This is Hoang Thi Bich Phuong, born in 1996, a former student of the K59 Korean Studies program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Bich Phuong currently works at VTC Digital Television as an editor and MC.

On February 18, 2021, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector in charge of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) received Mr. Jaejin Choi, the new Chief Representative of the Korea Foundation in Vietnam.
