The opening ceremony was organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in collaboration with the Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center on October 11, 2025.
Attending the Opening Ceremony, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Party Cell Secretary, Chairman of the University Council, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector, along with the Self-Assessment Council of 04 training programs, leaders of functional units, leaders of Faculties with accredited training programs and focal officers of the University's work areas.
The External Evaluation Team includes: Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam - former Director of Danang University, Head of the External Evaluation Expert Team (EE), Dr. Phi Nguyet Thanh - Deputy Director of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center and members of the EEE Expert Team.
Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam affirmed the commitment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in spreading the culture of quality, regularly improving the quality of training programs to meet the requirements of society.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam warmly welcomed and thanked the Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center (KĐCLGD) for accompanying the School for many years in educational quality assessment activities. At the same time, he affirmed the school's commitment to spreading the culture of quality and regularly improving the quality of training programs to meet the requirements of society.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, presented a brief overview of the University and the four evaluated training programs as well as the viewpoints on building and developing the University's training programs. After the opening session, the external evaluation team continued to conduct research on supporting documents, interviews, collect feedback from relevant parties, visit and inspect the school's facilities, and survey data related to the 04 training programs to be able to make accurate and objective assessments and comments on the training programs. The official survey program for the 04 training programs took place from October 11, 2025 to October 14, 2025.
Previously, on September 26, 2025, at the Thang Long Quality Assurance Center, the External Assessment Team also conducted an online Preliminary Survey program. The parties discussed and agreed on the content, official survey program and signed a memorandum of understanding on the preliminary survey.
