University of Social Sciences and Humanities conducts preliminary external assessment of 04 university-level training programs

On the morning of September 26, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with Thang Long Quality Assessment Center, organized a preliminary external assessment survey (online) of 04 university-level training programs: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies and Cultural Studies.
This is an important activity in the education quality assessment process, aiming to comprehensively and objectively assess the level of compliance with quality standards for training programs as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Attending the meeting were Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; leaders of the Faculty of History; Faculty of Oriental Studies; Faculty of Political Science; Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Administration, leaders of departments, functional offices, heads of specialized groups and officers in charge of the evaluation of 04 training programs.
Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Principal of the Schoolg The University of Social Sciences and Humanities affirms the important role of maintaining and ensuring the quality of training in the School. Vice President Dang Hong Son expressed his wish to listen to the opinions of the experts of the External Evaluation Team so that the school can have solutions to improve the quality of training programs, ensuring the implementation of the school's mission of training high-quality human resources.
At the preliminary external assessment survey, the two sides discussed the results of the self-assessment profile research, preliminary comments on the report and the evidence system. Dr. Nguyen Van Duong - Director of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center acknowledged the work of preparing reports, documents, and evidence to serve the assessment of the School's 04 training programs in a complete and clear manner. The official survey period will start from October 11, 2025 and end on October 14, 2025.
Also at the working session, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the External Evaluation Team signed a Memorandum of Understanding on a preliminary survey of 04 training programs.

Quality assurance culture is considered a decisive factor in the position and reputation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in training and research. Quality assurance work has been implemented early by the school. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the first university to establish a Training Quality Assurance Center. Up to now, all of the university's undergraduate training programs have met the requirements and been accredited domestically and internationally.
