The University of Social Sciences and Humanities conducts a preliminary external evaluation survey of 04 undergraduate programs.

On the morning of September 26, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the Thang Long Quality Accreditation Center, conducted a preliminary external evaluation survey (online) for four undergraduate programs: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies, and Cultural Studies.
This is an important activity in the educational quality accreditation process, aiming to comprehensively and objectively assess the extent to which training programs meet quality standards as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Attending the working session were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; leaders of the Departments of History; Oriental Studies; Political Science; Archival Studies and Office Management; leaders of departments and functional offices; heads of specialized groups; and staff responsible for the evaluation of the four training programs.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector of the UniversityThe University of Social Sciences and Humanities affirmed the important role of maintaining quality assurance in training within the university. Vice Rector Dang Hong Son expressed his desire to hear the feedback from the experts of the External Evaluation team so that the university can develop solutions to improve the quality of its training programs and ensure the fulfillment of its mission to train high-quality human resources.
During the preliminary external evaluation survey, both sides exchanged views on the results of the self-assessment report, preliminary comments on the report, and supporting evidence. Dr. Nguyen Van Duong, Director of the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, acknowledged that the preparation of the report, documents, and supporting evidence for the evaluation of the four training programs of the University was complete and clear. The official survey will begin on October 11, 2025, and end on October 14, 2025.
Also at the meeting, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, and the External Evaluation Team signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a preliminary survey of four training programs.

A culture of quality assurance is considered a decisive factor in the position and reputation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in training and research. The university has implemented quality assurance measures early on, being the first university to establish a Center for Training Quality Assurance. To date, all undergraduate programs at the university have met the requirements and have been accredited domestically and internationally.
