On the morning of September 5th, the HSK Korean Language and Korean Studies Center held a certificate awarding ceremony for 15 students who completed the first course at the center.
Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Gia Lam (Vice Rector, Director of HSK Center), Dr. Cho Hang Rok - Director of the Korean Language and Culture Training Institute, Sangmyung University (South Korea), and Mr. Lee Yong Hwan (Director of Korealang Company).
Opening the ceremony, Associate Professor Pham Gia Lam introduced the center's establishment process and future development direction. He expressed his hope that the center's activities would contribute to promoting Vietnam-Korea relations.

Dr. Cho Hang Rok also delivered a speech affirming the success of the first course at the center and awarded certificates of completion to the students. Among the 15 students who received certificates, one student achieved an excellent exam score (92/100 points) and was awarded a scholarship covering 50% of the course tuition.
The HSK Center for Korean Language and Korean Studies (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) is a pioneering center in providing internationally standardized Korean language training in Northern Vietnam, following the model of the Korean language program for foreigners at Sangmyung University (South Korea). The center's first course took place from July 2009 to September 2009 with 26 students.
