On the morning of September 5, the HSK Korean Language and Korean Studies Center held a ceremony to award certificates of completion to 15 students of the first course at the center.
Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Gia Lam - (Vice Principal, Director of HSK Center), Dr. Cho Hang Rok - Director of Korean Language and Culture Training Institute, Sangmyung University (Korea), Mr. Lee Yong Hwan (Director of Korealang Company).
At the beginning of the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Gia Lam briefly introduced the establishment process and future development orientation of the center. He expressed his hope that the center's activities will contribute to promoting the Vietnam - Korea relationship.
Dr. Cho Hang Rok also spoke to confirm the success of the first course at the center and awarded certificates of completion to the students. Among the 15 students who received certificates, there was 01 student with excellent exam scores (92/100 points) and received a scholarship of 50% of the course tuition.
HSK Korean Language and Korean Studies Center (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) is a pioneer center in Korean language training according to international standards in Northern Vietnam, training prototypes according to the Korean language teaching program for foreigners at Sangmyung University (Korea). The first course of the center took place from July 2009 to September 2009 with 26 students.
