Conference to evaluate the work of NK and vote of confidence to reappoint the Principal of NK for the 2009-2014 term

On September 22, 2009, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a conference of key staff to evaluate the work results of the Rector's term 2004 - 2009 and a conference of staff to vote for confidence - recommending the reappointment of the Rector for the term 2009 - 2014.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organizing Committee; on the side of VNU, there were Associate Professor Dr. Pham Trong Quat - Party Committee Secretary, Vice President of VNU - and many representatives of the office leaders and functional departments of VNU.

At the two conferences above, delegates listened to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the school - present in turn.Self-assessment report of the Principal's term of officeandWork program for the 2009-2014 termAccordingly, the Principal's 2009 - 2014 term work program will focus on the following key tasks:

• Continue to improve the industry structure
• High quality training and international standards
• Rapidly develop teaching and management staff
• Improve the quality and efficiency of scientific research activities
• Expanding and enhancing the effectiveness of international cooperation
• Strengthening the mobilization and effective use of funding sources; continuing to modernize facilities.

The conference also received comments from many delegates. In addition to recognizing the achievements that the school has made in the past term, the conferences unanimously evaluated that Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh has fulfilled his duties well in his position as the school's Principal.

The conference conducted a vote of confidence to reappoint the Principal for the 2009-2014 term.
