Five officials were awarded the title of Outstanding Worker at the ministerial level.

On March 9, 2009, the Minister of Education and Training signed Decision No. 2242/QD-BGDĐT recognizing 18 individuals from Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) as outstanding emulation fighters at the ministerial level for the 2007-2008 academic year. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities had 5 staff members who received this title.
