Training on Policy Analysis and Planning

From March 30th to April 1st, 2009, the Center for Policy Research and Analysis (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) collaborated with the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee of Hai Duong to organize a training course on Policy Analysis and Planning Skills for policymakers in Hai Duong.

From March 30th to April 1st, 2009, the Center for Policy Research and Analysis (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) collaborated with the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee of Hai Duong to organize a training course on Policy Analysis and Planning Skills for policymakers in Hai Duong.

The trainees attending the training course included representatives from the People's Council and People's Committee, officials from various departments and agencies, and leaders of alliances, associations, businesses, and cooperatives in Hai Duong Province. This was also the first course on policy science for policymakers in Hai Duong Province.

The main topics covered in the course included: an overview of Policy Science, policy analysis and planning skills, the relationship between central and local governments, policy culture and management, etc. Participants gained access to theoretical knowledge, exchanged practical experiences, and engaged in discussions with experts in the field of policy research in Vietnam, from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Institute for Policy and Strategic Research and Analysis, and Science and Technology.

Upon completion of the training course, participants will receive international certificates issued by the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Rosa Luxemburg Institute of the Federal Republic of Germany.
