At the September school-wide meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - School Principal - listened to a report on the implementation of work in July and August and assigned key tasks for September 2010.According to the Principal's conclusion, most of the units have completed the work in July - August as planned. Regarding some key tasks in September 2010, the units continued to synchronously deploy the tasks of the 2010 - 2011 school year, completing the key work plan in September 2010 on schedule, in which the Principal especially emphasized the following tasks:
Party work, organization, propaganda, and unions
- Opening of the new school year; organizing political activities at the beginning of the school year.
- The Party Committee meeting approved the working program of the Executive Committee and developed a plan to implement the Resolution of the 26th Party Congress.
- Organizing a conference for staff and civil servants for the 2010-2011 school year.
Training, student affairs, quality control and inspection
- Consider second choice; welcome students to school.
- Implementing the first semester teaching plan.
- Promulgating and disseminating the Regulations on regular university training at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (amended and supplemented).
- Continue to summarize 4 years of credit-based training.
- Completed training project in Southeast Asian studies.
Scientific research and international cooperation
- Implementing the plan to organize the Student Science Conference for the 2010-2011 school year.
- Organize the exam marking, announce the exam scores, consider the benchmark scores and review the 2nd round of postgraduate admissions in 2010.
- Building a "2+2" training cooperation project in Journalism - Communication and Commerce with Shanghai University (China) and Chungwon (Korea).
- Completed the "2+2" training project in Tourism & Hotel Management and Thai Studies with Bansomdeij Chaopraya Rajabat School (Thailand).
Administrative, management and financial work
- Finalize projects for renovation and repair of facilities during the summer.
- Completed the repair of facilities at B7bis building, Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language.
- Prepare and hand over rooms for the Project of Investing in equipment for the Center for Journalism and Communication.
- Prepare budget for the fourth quarter of 2010.
In addition, the Principal requested units to immediately implement a number of tasks, specifically:
- Preparing to celebrate the school's 65th anniversary in mid-November 2010.
- The Personnel Department completed the staffing work in September 2010.
- The Planning and Finance Department works with units on the 2010 disbursement plan.
- Heads of units assign staff to check the teaching and learning situation at the beginning of the school year.
