"Applying Web 2.0 in information and library activities" is the theme of a training program jointly organized by the Vietnam Association of Scientific and Technological Information and Documentation and the Faculty of Information and Library Science, which was inaugurated this morning, September 14, 2010.Over 40 trainees from 13 provinces participated in the training course, including information and library staff from provincial and city Departments of Science and Technology, library centers, and universities. During the four-day training, from September 14th to 17th, the trainees will discuss key topics such as:
- Introduction to Web 2.0 and its applications.
- 19 prominent issues of Web 2.0
- Fundamentals of "Information Literacy"
- Methods of disseminating knowledge and information through Web 2.0
- Librarian 2.0…
The training course provides an opportunity for information and library staff to update their knowledge and skills in accessing Web 2.0 technology, attracting readers' attention, and helping them quickly access necessary information resources.
