On September 22nd, representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam gave a presentation about the 2011 Fulbright Scholar Program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
On September 22nd, representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam gave a presentation about the 2011 Fulbright Scholar Program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.The presentation at the School provided important information on: the history of Fulbright in Vietnam and around the world, specific information on selection criteria, funding, and the application process for the Fulbright Vietnam Scholar Program. The Fulbright Vietnam Scholar Program is one of Fulbright's traditional programs, selecting Vietnamese scholars to teach and conduct research at American universities for 3 to 9 months. Each year, 6 to 8 Vietnamese scholars are selected. Applications are only accepted online, and the deadline is October 15, 2010. This program will create opportunities for young faculty members of the School to study and conduct research in the social sciences and humanities in the United States.
