The deadline for submitting applications for funding to implement science and technology activities in 2022 has been extended.

With funding from the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies (CHEY), the Center for Asian Research Support - Vietnam National University, Hanoi announces funding for Science and Technology activities in 2022.

Target beneficiaries:

Staff currently working at Vietnam National University, Hanoi hold a PhD degree and the academic rank of Associate Professor/Professor.

Must have chaired at least one research project at the grassroots level of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and have at least five published works in the research field (for research project funding).

Funding level and implementation time:

1. Topic:The proposed funding for each project is divided into three levels: 100 million, 150 million, and 200 million VND (depending on the research objectives and content).

The implementation period starts in June 2022 (within 12 to 24 months).

2. Conferences/Seminars:The fee should not exceed 60 million VND, depending on the scale and content of the workshop.

Conference/seminar dates: from June 2022 to May 2023

3. Publication:Not exceeding 30 million VND.

Publication period from June 2022 (within 3 to 12 months).

The work already has a draft.

Areas of funding:

1. Social Sciences and Humanities: Management and Economics, Humanities and Arts, Sociology and Behavior.

2. Natural Sciences and Medicine.

3. Science, Engineering and Technology: Educational Technology, Information and Computing Technology, Materials and Energy Technology, Life Technology, Earth and Environmental Technology, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development.

4. Interdisciplinary science.

* Priority will be given to funding young scientists to carry out research projects, conferences/workshops, and publications.

Registration and application period: from January 24th to February 28th, 2022

Application deadline extended: until March 18, 2022
