In August 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi signed a cooperation agreement with Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) - West Hanoi Branch.
1. Selection criteria
- Is a full-time student;
- Students with an average GPA of 3.2 or higher in semester 1 of the 2023-2024 school year, and an Excellent training score;
- Students have never received any non-budgetary scholarships in the 2023-2024 school year;
- Students do not violate discipline in the 2023-2024 school year, up to the time of scholarship consideration;
- Students who are policy beneficiaries according to State regulations, students with especially difficult circumstances;
- Students actively participate in social activities, Youth Union and Association activities that have a widespread impact in the community.
2. Number of selections:
The whole school has 17 quotas. Each unit will select and recommend 01 student to receive the scholarship.
3. Scholarship value:
Each scholarship is worth 7,352,000 VND/01 student.
4. Scholarship application documents include:
- Report on students' personal achievements in studying and training (according to form).
- Transcript of academic results for semester 1, school year 2023 - 2024.
- Transcript of training results for semester 1, school year 2023 - 2024.
- Photocopy of documents proving policy beneficiaries and special difficult circumstances.
- Photocopies of certificates of academic achievements, Union and Association activities, and community support activities.
The school respectfully requests the Board of Directors of the Faculties/Institutes/Departments to widely announce the scholarship program to students, select 01 application and send a soft copy in 1 PDF file via Email address: bang@ussh.edu.vn. The deadline for submitting applications is before 5:00 p.m. on May 14, 2024 (Tuesday). After the above deadline, any unit that does not submit an application will be considered by the Student Affairs Department as not participating in the SHB scholarship consideration for the first semester, academic year 2023-2024.
