Applications are now being accepted for the KBSV Scholarship Program, academic year 2023-2024, for VNU-USSH students.

To: The Leadership Board of the Faculties/Departments of Political Science, History, Linguistics, Anthropology, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Literature, Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language

Based on Official Letter No. 1762/ĐHQGHN-CT&CTHSSV dated May 4, 2024, from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the KBSV Young Scientist Incubation Scholarship Program for the 2023-2024 academic year for students under the Agreement signed between KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company (KBSV) and the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Development Fund, the University requests the Leadership Boards of the units to select scholarship recipients with the following criteria:
1. Eligibility and selection criteria
- Students in basic science fields;
- In the 2022-2023 school year, students achieved academic results of "excellent" or higher and conduct results of "good" or higher;
- Passionate about scientific research and possesses creative thinking skills;
- Priority will be given to students from ethnic minorities, female students, and those from disadvantaged backgrounds;
- I have not received any scholarships outside of the state budget during the 2023-2024 academic year.
2. Scholarship value:25,000,000 VND/student/academic year
3. Scholarship quotas for the entire university: 11 students
The allocation of quotas across the units is as follows: 4. Scholarship application documents
- Academic transcript for the 2022-2023 school year, certified by the training institution;
- A self-introduction with a photo (following the template);
- Photocopies of certificates regarding: academic achievements, social activities, scientific research (within the past year), difficult circumstances, etc. (if any).
All the above documents must be arranged in order and placed in a separate file folder measuring 25cm x 34cm. The outside of the folder must clearly state the following information: (KBSV Scholarship Application 2023-2024, Full Name, Phone Number, Email). Submitted applications will not be returned.
Students prepare their applications and submit them to their respective Faculty/Department. Each unit reviews the applications and nominates students according to its allocated quota.
In addition to the original documents, the unit must submit the student's scholarship application in PDF format, including scanned copies of the documents arranged in the order listed above. The file name should be the student's full name, and it should be sent to the following email address:bang@ussh.edu.vnDeadline for submitting applications.Before 5:00 PM on May 17, 2024 (Friday).
The Heads of Departments/Faculties of the 9 basic science disciplines are requested to widely publicize the scholarship program to students under their management. If any unit fails to submit applications by the deadline, the Student Affairs and Student Support Department will consider that unit ineligible to participate in the KBSV scholarship selection process for the 2023-2024 academic year.
