Receiving applications for KBSV Scholarship Program, academic year 2023 - 2024 for VNU-USSH students

To: The Board of Directors of the Faculties/Departments of Political Science, History, Linguistics, Anthropology, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Literature, Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 1762/ĐHQGHN-CT&CTHSSV dated May 4, 2024, of the Director of VNU on the KBSV Young Scientist Talent Incubation Scholarship Program for the 2023-2024 academic year for students under the Agreement signed between KB Vietnam Securities Joint Stock Company (KBSV) and VNU Development Fund, the University requests the Board of Directors of the units to select students to receive scholarships with the following contents:
1. Subjects and selection criteria
- Students of basic sciences;
- In the 2022 - 2023 school year, academic results must be excellent or higher and training results must be good or higher;
- Passionate about scientific research and creative thinking;
- Priority is given to students who are ethnic minorities, female, and in difficult circumstances;
- Never received any non-budgetary scholarship in the 2023-2024 school year.
2. Scholarship value:25,000,000 VND/student/school year
3. School-wide scholarship criteria: 11 students
Allocate targets at units as follows: 4. Scholarship application form
- Transcript of academic year 2022 - 2023 certified by the training unit;
- Self-introduction, with photo (according to form);
- Photocopies of certificates of: Academic achievements, social activities, scientific research (within the past year), difficult circumstances... (if any).
All the above documents must be arranged in order, contained in a separate file bag measuring 25cm x 34cm, with full information written on the outside of the file bag (KBSV Scholarship registration for the 2023-2024 school year, Full name, Phone number, Email). Submitted documents will not be returned.
Students prepare their application and submit it to the Faculty/Department they are studying at. Each unit will review and recommend the number according to the allocation quota of their unit.
In addition to the original documents, the unit submits the student's scholarship application in 1 pdf file format including scanned copies of documents arranged in the above order, the file name is the student's full name and sent to the email address:bang@ussh.edu.vn. Deadline for submitting applicationsbefore 5:00 p.m. on May 17, 2024 (Friday).
The Board of Directors of the Faculties/Departments of the 09 basic science majors is requested to widely announce the scholarship program to students of the units under their management. After the above deadline, any unit that does not submit its application will be considered by the Student Affairs Department as not participating in the KBSV scholarship consideration for the 2023-2024 school year.
