Dr. Goh Keng Swee Full Scholarship 2022

The Dr. Goh Keng Swee Scholarship (GKS) is a private scholarship administered by the Association of Singapore Banks (ABS). The Dr. GKS Scholarship Fund was established by the Singapore financial community to honor former Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Dr. Goh Keng Swee.

Condition
The DR GKS scholarship is awarded to outstanding individuals from 15 Asia Pacific regional economies, including Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, South Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, to pursue undergraduate studies at universities in Singapore such as the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Meet the admission requirements of the aforementioned universities in Singapore;
Applicants must register independently to take entrance exams for the aforementioned universities. Scholarships will be considered for most programs (except for specialized fields such as Medicine). Applicants must follow the guidelines set by Singaporean universities for international students.
Actively participate in extracurricular activities, achieve good academic results, and demonstrate leadership abilities;
You already have an SAT certificate or are preparing to take it (see the College Board website for more information on SAT registration).

Scholarship terms and conditions:
  • The Dr. GKS scholarship supports up to four years of undergraduate study (including Honours Bachelor's programs) for the following purposes:
  • Tuition fees and other mandatory fees;
  • Airfare to Singapore at the start of the course and return airfare after graduation;
  • Living allowance of S$6,500 per year;
  • Inpatient allowance;
  • Initial housing allowance of S$200.
Scholarships will be reviewed annually based on the academic performance of the scholarship recipients.
 
Register
Applicants for the Dr. GKS Scholarship for the 2022 academic year must submit their applications between November 15, 2021, and March 31, 2022.
