Based on Official Letter No. 161/ĐHQGHN-CT&CTHSSV dated January 19, 2022, from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding preparations for students' return to school from the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year;
Based on the conclusions of the meeting held on January 25, 2022, chaired by the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi;
The Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announces to heads of units, lecturers, students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates the study plan after the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Tiger, specifically as follows:
1. Full-time university students:
- Courses QH-2018-X, QH-2017-X, QH-2016-X, and other high-quality courses under Circular 23 will be conducted online from February 14, 2022, to February 26, 2022, and will return to in-person classes at the School from February 28, 2022. In case instructors of the aforementioned in-person classes need to teach using a hybrid model combining online and in-person instruction.(blended learning)Therefore, we request that the training unit register with the Training Department to be assigned suitable teaching schedules and inform the students accordingly.
- Courses QH-2019-X, QH-2020-X, and QH-2021-X will continue to study online starting from February 14, 2022, until further notice.
2. University students studying while working:Online classes will begin on February 14, 2022. In cases where the training unit is able to organize in-person classes, please register with the Training Department to schedule appropriate classes and notify instructors and students accordingly.
3. Graduate students and doctoral candidates:For classes held at the University, in-person classes will begin on February 21, 2022; for postgraduate classes with an applied focus, held in provinces outside Hanoi, the head of the training unit is responsible for developing a plan and registering it with the Training Department and notifying lecturers and students accordingly.
4. Students from the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities:The school year will follow the schedule set by the Hanoi City Department of Education. The Principal of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities announces this for teachers and students to follow.
To ensure that both in-person and online teaching and learning are conducted in accordance with regulations, safely, and with quality, the Rector of the University requests that the heads of training units and functional departments seriously fulfill their responsibilities in directing, managing, inspecting, and supervising training activities and COVID-19 prevention and control according to current regulations and guidelines; regularly pay attention to, understand, and update information on the disease situation related to staff, lecturers, students, trainees, and postgraduate students in their units; and promptly report to the Board of Directors and the University's Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control if any issues arise in their units.
