I. Scope of ApplicationThis guideline applies to students enrolled in standard and high-quality training programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
II. Principles for recognizing learning outcomes and transferring credits1. The credits accumulated by students will be considered for recognition and credit transfer based on benchmarking against learning outcomes, course content and volume, course assessment methods, and quality assurance conditions.
2. For transfer students who have accumulated credits from another training institution or are pursuing a second degree (part-time study): The number of credits considered for recognition of learning outcomes and credit transfer shall not exceed 50% of the minimum learning volume of the training program.
3. For student exchange programs at domestic and international training institutions that have signed cooperation agreements with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and for training courses taught directly by foreign lecturers at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: In addition to the recognized and equivalent credits according to principle 1 above, students may have credits recognized and transferred for elective courses if they complete the program and ensure sufficient study time. The maximum amount of credits recognized and transferred shall not exceed 25% of the study volume of the training program.
- For students changing majors, specializations, or training programs, or studying two training programs simultaneously: The Academic Affairs Department will recognize academic results and transfer credits according to the published list of equivalent courses.
III. Procedures for recognizing academic results and transferring credits1. Students submit their transcripts and application forms (attached Appendix) to the training unit.
2. The training unit's professional council will convene to recognize learning outcomes and transfer credits for courses that students have accumulated in the training program, based on the principles outlined in this Guideline.
The council is appointed by the head of the training unit and consists of a minimum of 3 members, including:
a. Chairperson of the Council: Representative of the leadership or Chairperson of the unit's Science and Training Council.
b. Council Members: Heads of departments primarily involved in the course requiring equivalency recognition and/or academic advisors.
c. Council Secretary: Training Assistant or Academic Advisor.
The council secretary prepares the application for recognition of academic results and credit transfer and submits it to the University (via the Training Department). The application includes: Student's application form; Transcript; Minutes of the Professional Council Meeting; and a request letter from the training unit.
3. The school reviews and issues the Decision.
IV. ImplementationThis guideline is effective from the date of signing. During implementation, if any problems arise, the heads of the relevant units should report to the University leadership (through the Training Department) for consideration and resolution.
