1. Scope of applicationThis regulation applies to high school students affiliated with Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and students of specialized high schools nationwide.
2. Conditions for registering for advance courses in a university degree program.High school students of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and students of specialized high schools nationwide can register for pre-credit courses in some undergraduate programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) starting from the second semester of 11th grade if they meet the following conditions:
- Must have achieved at least a "Good" grade or higher in the previous academic year or semester;
- Written consent is required from the Principal of the high school the student is currently attending and from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- In a semester, high school students are allowed to take a maximum of 3 courses from the university curriculum.
3. The process for students to pre-register for certain courses in a university degree program.
Step 1:The Training Department (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) has published the list of courses for students to register for.
Step 2:The high school announces the list of courses for students to choose and register for. The high school principal sends a letter, along with the list of students who have registered for these courses in advance, to the Training Department (University of Social Sciences and Humanities), with the following specific timeframe:

Step 3:The Training Department will send the timetable information to students (so that students can register according to the assigned timetable).
Step 4:Students pay tuition fees at the Planning and Finance Department.
Step 5:The Training Department sends the list of students to the training units for teaching implementation.
4. Recognition of academic resultsUpon completion of a course module, students will receive a course transcript. These course credits will be considered for admission to undergraduate programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and other undergraduate units within Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
5. ImplementationThis guideline is effective from the date of signing. During implementation, if any problems arise, the heads of the relevant units should report to the University leadership (through the Training Department) for consideration and resolution.
