The school's plan for organizing commemorative activities.

In accordance with Plan No. 1183 dated May 28, 2015, regarding the organization of activities to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (1945-2015) and the 20th anniversary of its establishment (1995-2015), issued by the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University announces the following commemorative activities:

 

1. October 1, 2015:Meeting with the press

  • Time: from 8:30 to 9:30
  • Location: Meeting Room 506, Building E, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.

 

2. October 3, 2015:Student camp and arts and culture performance for faculty and students of the University.

  • Time: + Student camp: from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

+ Cultural performance: from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM

  • Location: Courtyard E, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.

 

3. October 6, 2015:Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (1995-2015) and the 20th anniversary of its establishment.

  • Time: 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Location: National Convention Center, 57 Pham Hung Street, Me Tri Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi
  • Participants: All staff and faculty currently working at the University and student representatives from all cohorts as listed by the Department of Politics and Student Affairs. Classes are suspended for all students on October 6th, 2015.
  • Attire for the Anniversary Ceremony:Men wear dark suits and ties; women wear traditional ao dai dresses.

 

4. October 7, 2015Forum of Rectors of Universities in the Red River Basin

  • Time: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Location: Bao Son Hotel, 50 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Hanoi

 

Heads of departments are requested to inform all staff and students about the school's plan for organizing commemorative activities.
