Conclusion of the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the University's Alumni Association - 2015

Overview of the First Meeting of the Executive Board of the University's Alumni Association (2015)

Based on the results of the founding congress of the Alumni Association of Hanoi University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held on April 25, 2015; based on the Decision to establish the Alumni Association and recognize the list of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; and in accordance with the operating regulations of the Alumni Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, on September 8, 2015, the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association of the University held its first plenary meeting. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association unanimously agreed on the following points:

1. The University's Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Alumni Chapters and the Deans of the Faculties, is building an alumni database. This database will be gradually uploaded to the University's website, facilitating connections between alumni of different generations and the Faculties and the University.

2. To enhance communication activities regarding the 70th anniversary of the tradition and the 20th anniversary of the founding of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, based on the unified information content from the University's Communication Committee, the University's Alumni Association and its branches will coordinate in disseminating information to their members. The University's Alumni Association encourages members currently working in media agencies to actively participate in communication activities for the anniversary celebration.

3. The Executive Committee of the University's Alumni Association proposes to the University leadership and the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Celebration to develop specific plans for allocating the number of alumni representatives from each branch to attend the Celebration and to widely disseminate information through mass media so that a large number of the University's alumni are aware and can participate.

4. The Executive Committee of the University's Alumni Association has decided to postpone the planned reunion of all alumni in early October due to current circumstances. The University's Alumni Association requests that the Executive Committees of each branch proactively coordinate with the Deans of each Faculty to organize alumni reunions for each Faculty on the occasion of the University's anniversary and the unit's commemorative activities.

5. In anticipation of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the tradition and the 20th anniversary of the founding of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Alumni Association of the University is launching a writing campaign, organizing the editing and publication of the book "From this schoolThe articles should revolve around three themes: the school, teachers, and friends. To organize this meaningful activity, we request that the Executive Committees of each branch association coordinate with the Faculty Deans to encourage alumni from their respective units to participate in writing articles. Each alumni branch association should submit at least one article. Articles should be sent to the Secretariat of the University's Alumni Association before September 20, 2015, via the Political and Student Affairs Department (Room 408, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi, email:...).cuongph@vnu.edu.vn.

6. The University's Alumni Association requests that the Executive Committees of the branches mobilize and encourage alumni members from all units to actively participate in supporting the 70th anniversary of the University's tradition and the 20th anniversary of its founding, both spiritually and materially. 7. The Alumni Association assigns the Secretariat to proactively maintain contact with the Deans of the Faculties, the Executive Committees of the Alumni Associations, and alumni of various units to implement the above-mentioned conclusions, successfully organize the Association's activities, and actively contribute to fostering connections between alumni and the University's activities and the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the University's tradition and the 20th anniversary of its founding.
