Results of the 15th meeting of the Council for awarding the titles of People's Teacher and Meritorious Teacher in 2020

Pursuant to Decree No. 27/2015/ND-CP dated March 10, 2015 of the Government regulating the awarding of the titles "People's Teacher", "Meritorious Teacher", Official Dispatch No. 5651/BGDĐT-TĐKT dated December 16, 2019 of the Ministry of Education and Training, Instruction No. 4300/ĐQGHN-CT&CTHSSV dated December 30, 2019 of Vietnam National University, Hanoi on the implementation of the awarding of the titles of People's Teacher (ND), Meritorious Teacher (NGUT) for the 15th time in 2020, the Council for awarding the titles of People's Teacher, Meritorious Teacher (NGUT) for the 15th time in 2020 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (hereinafter referred to as the Council) met on February 14, 2020 to review the documents, discuss and vote by secret ballot to select qualified teachers for the awarding of the title. People's Teacher, Associate Professor. The meeting results are as follows:

I. The list of teachers unanimously approved by the Council to be put to secret ballot for the title of Distinguished Teacher and the vote counting results are as follows:

Thus, the list of teachers achieved from90%The number of votes in agreement of the Council members proposed to the Hanoi National University Council for consideration of awarding the title of Associate Professor includes:

1. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Block III
2. Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Phuong Thao, Faculty of History
3. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Quan, Faculty of History
4. Prof. Dr. Hoang Ba Thinh, Faculty of Sociology
5. Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Chinh, Faculty of Oriental Studies

II. Based on the standard conditions, the Council discussed and agreed not to include in the secret ballot the profiles of the following 02 teachers:

1. Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Dang Tri, proposed to be considered for the title of People's Teacher: has not had the title of Emulation Fighter at the Ministry level and has not had a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister (since being awarded the title of Meritorious Teacher - 2008)
2. Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Kim Dinh, proposed to consider the title of Meritorious Student: less than 7 times of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level, in 2019 (the year immediately before retirement) did not achieve Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level; no title of Emulation Fighter at the ministerial level; no scientific research topic at the ministerial level.

The 15th 2020 People's Teacher and Meritorious Teacher Awarding Council of the School requests the Heads of units to notify the teachers who have submitted their applications and all officers and civil servants of the results of the Council's meeting.
