In accordance with Directive No. 06/CT-TTg dated January 31, 2020, of the Prime Minister and the guiding documents of the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the prevention and control of acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
Given the complex developments of the epidemic, and based on the directives from the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam National University, Hanoi regarding the organization and guidance for preventing and controlling acute respiratory infections, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announces:
Students and trainees of all levels and training programs at the University will continue to be on leave until February 16, 2020, to proactively prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease caused by the 2019-nCoV virus.
During the school break, students and trainees should stay in their local area/residence, limit travel and contact with crowded places, and regularly update themselves on school announcements as well as take preventive measures against the epidemic as recommended by the Ministry of Health.
The Board of Directors requests that heads of units inform all lecturers and students about the contents of this announcement and ensure its proper implementation, while also taking responsibility for actively participating in epidemic prevention and control activities.
