Recently, the pneumonia outbreak caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) originating from China has become complicated. On January 31, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a "global health emergency" regarding the outbreak of the 2019-nCoV influenza virus.
Given the complex developments of the epidemic, and based on the directives from the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam National University, Hanoi regarding the organization and guidance for preventing and controlling the acute respiratory disease caused by the 2019-nCoV virus in schools, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announces the following school closure schedule for all students and trainees:
Break time:until February 9, 2020.
During the school break, students and trainees should stay in their local area/residence, limit travel and contact with crowded places, and regularly update themselves on school announcements as well as take preventive measures against the epidemic as recommended by the Ministry of Health.
