The dual degree program in Tourism Studies is a joint training program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Foreign Languages ​​- VNU. The admission target is full-time students of the University of Foreign Languages ​​from the second year onwards. The admission score is the average cumulative score taken from high to low until the quota is filled. Students will study at the University of Foreign Languages. The timetable will be arranged to combine the study schedules of both majors, Foreign Languages ​​and Tourism Studies. Students will have to study an additional 75 credits in the Tourism Studies major, mainly specialized modules such as tourism geography, tourism culture, tourism psychology, tourist routes, hotel services, tour guide services, travel services, etc. Students will be recognized as graduating if they are recognized as graduating from the first major, accumulate enough credits required for the second major, and have a cumulative average score of all subjects in the training program of 2.00 or higher; have an IELTS English certificate of 4.0 or higher or equivalent. The representatives of employers all agreed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities' implementation of dual degree training in Tourism with foreign language students as input is good news for businesses. Graduates will meet both essential factors that employers expect: foreign language and professional knowledge. This is a positive direction to help training catch up with social needs as well as expand career opportunities for students.
