Regulations on direct admission and priority consideration for admission to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the 2010 regular university entrance examination.
1. Candidates eligible for direct admission to university.
a) Labor Heroes, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and National Emulation Soldiers who have graduated from high school. b) Individuals who have taken entrance exams and been admitted to universities, but were immediately drafted into military service or volunteer youth corps that same year, and have now completed their service, been discharged, or demobilized, but have not yet been admitted to any long-term regular school, may be considered for admission to the university they previously applied to, if recommended by a regiment or the General Volunteer Youth Corps, provided they meet the health requirements and have all the necessary valid documents, without having to retake the entrance exam. If their studies have been interrupted for 3 years or more and the candidates for direct admission so wish, they may be considered for admission to preparatory schools or classes for review before officially beginning their studies. c) Candidates in the Olympic team who have graduated from high school are admitted directly to university; if they have not yet graduated from high school, their admission will be deferred until after they graduate. The academic fields of these candidates will be given priority consideration based on their suitability to the subjects they have taken in the exams.2. Eligibility criteria for university admission
Candidates who achieved at least a consolation prize in the 2009 and 2010 National High School Student Excellence Competition for 12th graders (graduating from high school in 2010 after taking the university entrance exam based on the Ministry of Education and Training's common exam), with exam results at or above the minimum score set by the Ministry of Education and Training and without any subject receiving a score of 0, will be directly admitted to their registered major. Specifically: - For majors in the C and D subject groups (except Linguistics): Literature, History, Geography, Foreign Language. - For majors in the A, C, and D subject groups: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, History, Geography, Foreign Language. - For Linguistics: Mathematics, Literature, English.
