Quality assurance will be conducted according to AUN standards.

At the 8th session of the VNU Quality Accreditation Council, the self-assessment report and the external evaluation report of the high-quality undergraduate program in Linguistics at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were reviewed and approved with 14 out of 21 votes.

At the 8th session of the VNU Quality Accreditation Council, the self-assessment report and the external evaluation report of the high-quality undergraduate program in Linguistics at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were reviewed and approved with 14 out of 21 votes.The council also reached the following conclusions:

  • The high-quality training program in Linguistics at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has achieved 95% or higher of the criteria to be eligible for Level 1 accreditation of training programs by Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
  • The University of Social Sciences and Humanities needs to address existing shortcomings such as: equipping Linguistics students with scientific research methods, soft skills, foreign language proficiency, and improving facilities to support training; while simultaneously overcoming existing shortcomings and promoting strengths as mentioned in the external evaluation report, the opinions of reviewers, and the Council;
  • The university plans to register for accreditation of its high-quality Linguistics program according to AUN accreditation standards.

In the upcoming academic year 2009-2010, the Center for Quality Assurance in Education under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is responsible for continuing to organize and implement the evaluation of faculty lectures, self-assessment of training programs and training activities of the university, and effectively addressing weaknesses and areas that do not meet standards. According to the plan, in 2012, the University will conduct accreditation of its training programs according to the standards of the Association of Southeast Asian Universities (AUN).
