TABLE TENNIS COMPETITION SCHEDULE AND RULES
Happy Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, 2017
* Time: November 17, 18 and 20, 2017
* Location: Room 103, 1st floor, building E
- Qualifying round match time: 17:00 - 21:00 on November 17, 2017 (if the time is over, the remaining matches will be played at 15:30 on November 18, 2017)
- Semi-final and final match time: 9:00 a.m. November 20, 2017
There are 24 athletes, divided into 2 groups A and B.
- Athletes in each group will be randomly drawn and play in pairs (1 A – 1 B, 2 A – 2B, ..., 6A – 6B)
- Round 2 is also randomly drawn like round 1.
- Round 3: The remaining 3 athletes of each group will play a round robin to score points (1 point for each win, 0 point for each loss), the 2 athletes ranked first and second in each group will enter the semi-finals (1st A - 2nd B; 2nd A - 1st B).
- Male athletes meet female athletes with a handicap of 2-2-2.
- For any absent athlete, the organizers will draw lots and consider the 3-0 win for the athlete drawn in the same pair.
- Qualifying matches are played 3 sets to 2; semi-finals and finals are played 5 sets to 3.
- Each win is 1 point, loss is 0 point; in round 3 of the round robin competition, if two athletes have the same score, the additional coefficient (set won - set lost) will be considered. If the set coefficient is still equal, the number of wins - losses in each set will be calculated.

- There are 7 pairs of athletes divided into 2 groups A & B, competing in a round robin; the first and second pairs of each group will enter the semi-finals (First A – Second B, Second A – First B).
- Qualifying round: 3 wins 2, semi-finals and finals: 5 wins 3
- Male athlete pair vs mixed athlete pair, handicap is 2-0-2.
- For any absent athlete pair, the organizing committee will consider the winning pair for the remaining athlete pairs.
- Each win is 1 point, loss is 0 point. If two teams have the same score, they will be considered by the extra coefficient (set win - set loss). If the set coefficient is still equal, continue to calculate the number of wins - losses in each set.

BADMINTON TOURNAMENT RULES
HAPPY VIETNAMESE TEACHERS' DAY 11/20
1. Participants:
- Staff and students currently working and studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU, Hanoi).
2. Competition content and format:
2.1. Competition content:
- Sports competition in doubles, no age division (men's doubles, women's doubles or mixed doubles depending on the registered units).
- Athletes register to compete through the Union Office. Based on individual units with 1 member, the Organizing Committee will pair them up to compete.
2.2. Competition format:
- Apply current badminton competition rules, with adjustments to suit the school's facilities and competition participants.
- The pairs compete in the knockout round (The draw will be decided by the Organizing Committee after the full list of registrations is available.).
- The shuttlecock is the standard shuttlecock used for outdoor badminton.
- The matches are played in 3 sets of 11, the team that wins 2 sets wins the match.
3. Prize structure
- One first prize: 500,000 VND
- One second prize: 300,000 VND
- Two third prizes: 200,000 VND
4. Time and place of competition:
- Time: 8:30 a.m. November 20, 2017.
- Location: University of Social Sciences and Humanities yard.
