We invite you to submit papers for the international scientific conference "Research and Teaching of Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies in Universities".

1. Content

The workshop focused on the following topics:

- The current situation and methods of organizing the teaching of Vietnamese language and Vietnamese studies at universities.

- Vietnamese language programs and curricula for international students.

- Methods of teaching and testing/assessing Vietnamese language proficiency.

- New research in Vietnamese linguistics.

- Studying Vietnamese studies from an interdisciplinary perspective encompassing history, economics, politics, culture, and society.

2. Language:Vietnamese and English.

3. Time:Expected duration: 2 days, November 3rd and 4th, 2018.

4. Location:University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The Organizing Committee of the conference respectfully invites experts to submit the title and abstract of their report in Vietnamese and English (400 words) before August 15, 2018, and the full report (10-20 pages A4, Times New Roman font, Unicode encoding, size 13) before October 10, 2018, to the Organizing Committee (via email).tiengviet@ussh.edu.vn.
