Announcement of the Postgraduate Tuition Fee Collection Plan for 2021

Based on Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP dated August 27, 2021, of the Prime Minister, stipulating the mechanism for collecting and managing tuition fees for educational institutions within the national education system and policies on tuition fee exemption and reduction, support for learning costs; service prices in the field of education and training, and other documents regulating tuition fee levels of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities;
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the tuition fee collection plan for postgraduate programs in 2021 as follows:
1. Revenue targets:
1.1. For Vietnamese students and postgraduate researchers (NCS)
- Master's degree training: 14,700,000 VND/student/year
- Doctoral training: 24,500,000 VND/candidate/year
1.2. For foreign students and doctoral candidates
- Master's degree training: 52,140,000 VND/student/year
- Doctoral training: 55,385,000 VND/candidate/year
1.3. Regarding tuition fee renewals:
Students and doctoral candidates whose enrollment deadlines have expired but who have been granted an extension by a competent authority must pay an extension fee equivalent to 100% of the annual tuition fee for their level and field of study during the extended period.
* The university will announce the list of students and postgraduate candidates, along with tuition fees, student IDs, and postgraduate candidate IDs, on the university's website and via email to the postgraduate training assistants of each faculty (for students and postgraduate candidates who still owe tuition fees up to this point). Students and postgraduate candidates should check their personal information and the amount of tuition fees to be paid. If there are any errors, please notify the Planning and Finance Department directly for timely correction.
2. Deadline for tuition payment:
From November 3rd, 2021 to November 30th, 2021.
3. Method of collection
- Students and doctoral candidates pay fees through the university's bank account:
- Account number: 1003646101, Saigon-Hanoi Bank (SHB), Nguyen Trai Transaction Office, Tay Hanoi Branch.
- Beneficiary: University of Social Sciences and Humanities
When submitting the student application, the postgraduate student must fill in all the information on the money transfer form using the following format: [Student/Postgraduate Student Code][Full Name][Date of Birth][Major][Course] Tuition Fee
Example: 20035001, Nguyen Van B, December 18, 1980, Journalism, Postgraduate 2020, tuition fee
* Paying tuition fees is the responsibility of every postgraduate student and doctoral candidate. Only postgraduate students and doctoral candidates who have completed tuition fee payment will be included in the examination list, participate in exams, and defend their dissertations.
* For students and doctoral candidates who have completed the standard training period but have not yet defended their thesis or dissertation, they must pay the extension fee so that the University can make a decision to extend the training period according to regulations.
Heads of units are requested to inform, urge, and remind postgraduate students and doctoral candidates in their units to comply with training regulations and complete tuition fee payments on time.
