Webinar "Understanding to Grow"

The COVID-19 pandemic emerged, bringing about severe impacts on all aspects of life, with the mental health of the community becoming particularly prominent. Numerous studies have shown that participants experienced moderate to severe stress, anxiety, and depression due to the effects of COVID-19. Through these studies, the authors also emphasized the need for mental health care services, especially for vulnerable populations, and for strengthening social capital to mitigate the adverse psychological impact of outbreaks. Mental health care should not only be emphasized during the pandemic but also incorporated into future mental health crisis management strategies.
With that in mind, the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences is organizing a series of webinars titled "Psychological and Social Support for the Community," aiming to bring specialized knowledge into practical life and contribute to the prevention, support, and improvement of mental health in the community. The first webinar, themed "Understanding to Grow," focuses on supporting students in shaping their values ​​and managing their emotions on their journey to adulthood.
