1.Target audience of the course
ButIndividuals working in the field of journalism and media but lacking a relevant degree need to obtain professional certificates to complete their application for recruitment/promotion to meet the requirements for the positions of reporter and editor as stipulated in Circular 11/2016/TTLT- Ministry of Information and Communications - Ministry of Home Affairs.
- Students currently studying or who have graduated from university or college and wish to work in the field of journalism and media.
- Anyone interested in or passionate about journalism and media.
2. Training Program
- Equip yourself with a foundational knowledge system of modern journalism and media.
- Developing operational skills in the field of journalism: finding topics, conducting interviews, processing information, organizing work, editing skills, etc.
- Working on basic journalistic genres: news, interviews, feature stories.
- Creating multimedia journalistic works
- Editing and processing press releases and managing reporters' work at events, press conferences, etc.
- Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to work on publishing journalistic works as required in the fields of print and online journalism.
3. Certificates
- Vietnamese-English certificate issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
4. Study time:8 weeks
- All day Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
5. Tuition fees:2,500,000 VND
- 10% tuition fee reduction for studentscurrently studying inUniversity of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi: 2,250,000 VND/student
