Announcement of awarding the title "Outstanding Young Face at Grassroots Level" in 2017"

1. Title of Outstanding Young Face at the grassroots level:Awarded to students and staff under 35 years old who are working and studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, have good political and moral qualities, have a healthy lifestyle, actively contribute to social work, class work, Youth Union work, Student Association work, have high prestige and influence in the collective, meet one of the following requirements:

1.1. Young faces with excellent results in study, research and work:

- Students with an average GPA of 3.60 or higher in the 2016-2017 school year, no subjects with an F grade in the school year and excellent training scores.

- Students are outstanding Class/Youth Union/Student Association officers with an average GPA of 3.20 to 3.59 for the 2016-2017 school year, with no F-grade subjects in the school year and excellent training scores.

- Students with difficult circumstances but with the spirit of overcoming difficulties have an average GPA of 3.20 to 3.59 for the 2016-2017 school year, no subjects with an F grade in the school year and excellent training scores.

- Graduate students with a score of 3.60 or higher in their subjects and at least 02 articles published in national scientific journals (with ISSN index) or at least 01 article published in international scientific journals (Only consider articles published between September 2016 and October 2017).

- PhD students must have a score of 3.70 or higher in specialized subjects and have at least 02 articles published in national scientific journals (with ISSN index) or at least 01 article published in international scientific journals (Only consider articles published between September 2016 and October 2017).

- Young cadres achieving the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level or higher.

1.2. Young faces are students who won official individual prizes in regional and international Olympic competitions in the 2016-2017 school year.

1.3. Young faces are cadres or students who won first or second prizes at the national level or at the ministerial, central sector, Hanoi National University, province, or centrally-run city level in scientific research, culture, arts, and sports in the 2016-2017 school year.

2. Time to submit selection request:The units conduct the selection and send the list (according to the sample) to the Department of Politics and Student Affairsbefore November 3, 2017 (Friday).

3. Some notes

- Titles are not considered for:

+ Students, graduate students, and researchers graduating in the 2016-2017 school year.

+ Students of Course QH-2017-X.

- Postgraduate students/doctoral researchers nominated under category 1.1, individuals nominated under categories 1.2 and 1.3 must submit full evidence along with the unit's nomination excerpt.

- The school will not consider units that do not submit the correct list within the prescribed time limit. If after the above deadline, the unit does not send the selection request to the school, it will be considered as not participating.

After the results of the title "Outstanding Young Face at the grassroots level" in 2017, the grassroots Council will select and propose to honor the title "Outstanding Young Face at the Hanoi National University level" and award a Certificate of Merit from the Director of Hanoi National University.
