Announcement regarding the awarding of the title "Outstanding Young Face of Hanoi National University"

Based on Official Letter No. 3806/ĐHQGHN-CT&CTHSSV dated October 11, 2023, from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the awarding of the title "Outstanding Young Face of Vietnam National University, Hanoi"; in order to recognize and honor individuals with outstanding achievements in key areas of work during the year, the University requests that the Heads of units consider and propose the awarding of the title "Outstanding Young Face at the grassroots level" for 2023 according to the following specific criteria:

1. Titleeu Gemeraldng mat trecommemorative plaqueeucabase p:The recipients of the award are officials and students (including high school students, undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates, hereinafter collectively referred to as students) currently studying, researching, or working at the institution.University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, age not exceeding 35.
1.1. For young staff members: Possess good political and moral qualities, have a healthy lifestyle, excel in their duties, and have outstanding achievements and results in one of the following fields: Training; Science and technology; Social and community activities; Management and other activities, contributing to the development and dissemination of the unit's brand and VNU, specifically:
- Training field: Having exemplary innovative training products (teaching materials, syllabi, lesson plans, innovative teaching lectures, etc.) that have been approved by the department or faculty, products with high application effectiveness, contributing to the development and improvement of teaching quality, achieving output standards and meeting social needs; or having books and textbooks serving teaching related to innovative teaching, evaluated as effective in innovative teaching; or having outstanding results in teaching, in training and coaching, in guiding students in scientific research: students winning prizes in international and regional Olympic competitions, first prizes in national, ministerial, or sectoral competitions.
- Science and Technology Field: Having outstanding international publications representative of the unit or having excellent results in scientific research tasks calculated in terms of hours converted into scientific research tasks according to the Regulations on Lecturers and Researchers of VNU; or having a monograph published in the year; or having inventions or patents registered for intellectual property protection; or having technological products or solutions currently being applied in practice; or having a startup product that has won an official award in startup competitions at the ministerial or sectoral level; or having a startup project that has been accepted for investment by investors.
- Social and community activities: Participating in social and community activities in a leadership role or key position, activities that create a significant social impact, contributing to solving important problems in the community and society, and recognized by competent authorities.
- Management and other activities: Outstanding achievements in management and other activities, solving specific and important problems, contributing to the development of the unit and VNU, and strongly promoting the brand of the unit and VNU.
1.2. For students: Strictly adhere to regulations, demonstrate a good attitude towards learning, training, and contributing, and achieve outstanding results in one of the following areas: Academics and training, social and community activities, contributing to the development and dissemination of the VNU brand, specifically:
ButAcademic and behavioral performance: Having achieved excellent academic results or higher, good behavioral performance, no failing grades (F) in any subject during the academic year (for university students) or a good conduct rating (for high school students), and having achieved one of the following accomplishments:
+ Won awards in regional and international Olympiad competitions, and first prize in the national excellent student competition and Olympiad.
+ Won first prize at the national, central government, Vietnam National University, and provincial/city levels in scientific research, literature and arts, and sports.
+ There are notable international publications where the student is the sole author or the main author.
+ Having a startup idea or product that has won an official award in startup competitions at the ministerial or departmental level.
+Successfully developing the startup project, the project has received investment approval from investors.
- Social and community activities: Having excellent academic results or higher, good conduct, no failing grades in any subject during the academic year (for university students) or good conduct rating (for high school students), actively participating in social and community activities in leadership or key positions, activities that create a significant impact, contributing to solving specific and important problems in the community and society, recognized by competent authorities, and contributing to strongly spreading the brand of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
2. Deadline for submitting nominations:The units conduct the selection process and submit the list.according to the template) regarding the Department of Political Affairs and Student AffairsBefore October 25, 2023 (Wednesday).

- Nominated individuals must submit all necessary supporting documents along with a summary of their nomination from their organization.
- The school will not consider applications from units that do not submit the list in the correct format and within the specified deadline. If qIf a unit fails to submit a proposal for selection to the School within the aforementioned deadline, it will be automatically considered as not participating.
After the results of the "Outstanding Young Person at the grassroots level" award for 2023 are announced, the grassroots-level council will select and nominate candidates for the "Outstanding Young Person at Hanoi National University" award for 2023.
