Mr. Nguyen Van Hong, Training Department:The departments at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have many different exam blocks, so the competition ratio often doesn't accurately reflect a candidate's chances of admission. Furthermore, starting from this year's entrance exam, candidates who don't get admitted to their registered major have the opportunity to transfer to other majors with available slots if their exam score is at or above the minimum score set by the Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Moreover, the competition ratio, if not calculated by block, is not very meaningful because it depends on the exam score. Therefore, the University will not publish the competition ratio for each major in the 2012 university entrance exam. I wish you continued perseverance in your choice and high results in the upcoming university entrance exam.
Le Hong Phong @ 21:19, May 25, 2012: I would like to ask: Last year I passed the entrance exam for Psychology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Hanoi with a score of 19, but because I was also busy studying a college-level program in Thai Binh that same year, I couldn't study both majors simultaneously due to circumstances. If you want to study Psychology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, your only option is to retake the university entrance exam.

University Training PortalTypically, the dual degree program admissions take place in September each year. When admissions are planned, the university posts announcements on its website and sends notifications to students via email. Additionally, you can meet with Mr. Pham Van Hue at the Training Department during the student consultation hours to learn more about this type of program.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hong, Training Department:Since you cannot change your registered university choice, your only option is to take the university entrance exam at the school you registered for. You can only use your exam results to apply to other schools if you don't get accepted into your registered school and your exam score is at or above the minimum university/college admission score.
