I. STANDARD TRAINING PROGRAM

1. Type of training: University system for working professionals (formerly part-time/in-service programs), awarding a bachelor's degree.2. Training programs:

  • Press and Media
  • Tourism and Travel Service Management
  • Management Science (specialization in Social Management and Management Science)
  • Political science (specializing in Ho Chi Minh Thought and Political Science);
  • Sociology
  • Social work
  • Philosophy (specializing in Religious Studies)
  • Archival Studies and Office Management
  • International Studies (International Relations)
  • Library information
  • Psychology
  • History
  • Literature
  • Language
  • Vietnamese Studies

3. Training duration: 4 to 5 years, approximately 130 to 135 credits (courses can be taken in semesters on weekday evenings and Saturdays and Sundays, or in intensive sessions).4. TargetOfficials, civil servants, and other eligible individuals must meet the requirements to take the university entrance exam according to the Training Regulations of Hanoi National University and the Regulations on University Admission for Part-time/Evening Study Programs of the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications: High School Diploma, Vocational High School Diploma, Professional High School Diploma, Vocational High School Diploma, or College Diploma, and must pass an entrance exam consisting of three subjects in Group C (Literature, History, Geography) based on the high school curriculum.5. Conditions for organizing the class- The training facilities must be universities, colleges, vocational schools, or provincial-level Continuing Education Centers that meet the requirements for infrastructure, equipment, and management staff for the training programs. (Article 2, Clause 2, Point a, Regulations on Part-time/Evening Program Admissions) - The school will only organize admissions if the number of applications for each major reaches a minimum of 80 (Northern provinces) and a minimum of 120 (Southern provinces). Majors that do not meet the required number of applications will not hold entrance exams. Candidates who submit applications to majors that do not meet the entrance exam requirements will receive their applications and exam fees back after the application deadline.6. Documentation proceduresApplication forms are issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Candidates can purchase and submit application forms directly at: the Training Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities; 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi, or at the training facility in their local area.

  • Application fee: 50,000 VND/candidate (to be paid with the application).
  • Examination fee: from 300,000 to 1,000,000 VND/candidate (to be paid with the application, depending on the requirements of each major and locality).

7. Admission period(2 times/year) in April and October each year.8. Training costs- Student tuition fees: 550,000 to 630,000 VND/month/student, 171,000 to 196,000 VND/credit (excluding enrollment fees, re-examination fees, small class sizes for foreign language and computer skills, internships, practical training, and graduation). Tuition fees may vary according to government regulations and specific local regulations. - Use of tuition fees: Party B (the partner) is entitled to use 23-25% (as agreed) of the total tuition fee to cover administrative class management, tuition and fee collection from students, accommodation for staff working and teaching, and facilities for teaching and examinations (classrooms, sound and lighting, desks and chairs, etc.).Note(Three months before the enrollment period, local training institutions wishing to open classes must send a written request to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, including projected enrollment quotas and training programs.)

II. TYPES OF TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR TRANSFERRING FROM COLLEGE TO UNIVERSITY

1. Type of training: University-wide continuing education program (formerly a specialized training program), awarding a bachelor's degree.2. Training programs:

  • Press and Media
  • Tourism and Travel Service Management
  • Social work
  • Archival Studies and Office Management
  • Library information
  • Literature

3. Training durationDuration: 1.5 to 2 years, approximately 65 credits (courses can be taken in semesters on weekday evenings and Saturdays and Sundays, or in intensive sessions).4. TargetThose who have graduated from college with a GPA of "good" or higher, in a field relevant to the entrance exam, will be eligible to take the exam immediately after graduation; this must be in the correct specialization. All other candidates must have at least one year of work experience in their professional field and must pass an entrance exam consisting of two subjects: a foundational subject of the field and a specialized subject.5. Conditions for organizing the class: like the VLVH type6. Documentation proceduresApplication forms are issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
