July 8: Organize for candidates to complete procedures to take the exam for blocks C and D

This morning, July 8, 2008, along with 88 other schools and institutes across the country, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized for candidates to complete exam registration procedures.

This year, there were 8,428 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to the School with a total of 8,847 applications.

With this number of candidates, the School has arranged a total of 240 examination rooms, of which, Hanoi: 229, Vinh: 10, Quy Nhon: 01. In Hanoi alone, there are 11 out of a total of 13 examination sites. The total number of examination supervisors is 550 people, of which 215 are students.

Regarding enrollment targets, this year the school has 1,400 targets, the highest being Management Science (130 targets) and the lowest being Han Nom (30 targets). Except for Linguistics, in general, the targets for each major this year have not changed compared to 2007. In addition, this year is also the first year the school recruits Political Science. Because it is a newly opened major, the number of registration files is only 70 for 50 targets.

According to the Report on the situation of candidates completing procedures for the C block exam on the morning of July 8, 2008, there were5717Candidates come to do the procedures and pass67.8%. In which, the highest exam score is at the University of Water Resources (building A2, A3) reaching 72.5%, the lowest exam score is at Vinh Tan Secondary School (Vinh City) reaching 57.3%.
