20 students received Nguyen Thi Thoa scholarships

On March 10, 2008, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the awarding of Nguyen Thi Thoa scholarships to 20 students from various faculties and courses in the school (each scholarship is worth 5 million VND). These are students from difficult circumstances who have achieved good results in the first semester of the 2007-2008 school year. Present at the scholarship awarding ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Gia Lam - Vice Principal of the School - and representatives of leaders of functional departments and offices.

This is the second time that students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have received scholarships from Ms. Nguyen Thi Thoa - a kind-hearted individual who wants to help and encourage studious young people. Last school year, 10 students of the University received this scholarship. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is also one of more than 10 universities and colleges in Hanoi that have received help from Ms. Nguyen Thi Thoa.

At the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Gia Lam awarded scholarships to students and congratulated and recognized their academic achievements. The students who received scholarships shared their feelings, thoughts and expressed their aspirations in their studies and life with the school leaders.
