Scholarships under the agreement program in China for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Announcement No. 156/TB-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training dated March 17, 2009, regarding student recruitment for study in China under the Agreement for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Number of scholarships and scholarship benefits

In total, there are 57 fully funded scholarships available for Vietnam, including 10 scholarships for Chinese language internships (for Chinese language lecturers at universities), 10 undergraduate scholarships, 10 master's scholarships, and 27 doctoral scholarships.

Candidates accepted under this scholarship program will receive a scholarship from the Chinese Government, covering tuition fees and on-campus accommodation; the Vietnamese Government will provide a one-way and return air ticket and a monthly living allowance in accordance with current state regulations.

School time

Successful applicants will begin their studies in the 2009-2010 academic year, with expected arrival at school in September and October 2009.

Training duration (academic years): Chinese language internship: 1 year; Undergraduate: 4-5 years; Master's: 2-3 years; and Doctorate: 3-4 years.

Deadline for submitting applications

- Application documents in Vietnamese for preliminary selection: before April 10, 2009.

- Documents in Chinese or English for negotiation: before April 22, 2009.
