The Center for Foreign Languages ​​and International Educational Exchange Promotion is a unit directly under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Center was established by Decision No. 971 QD/XHNV-TC of the Rector of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Studying abroad

The international study abroad program helps students who wish to study abroad choose the most suitable major at reputable universities and training institutions that are traditional partners of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Currently, the center is recruiting students to study in countries such as the UK, Germany, China, Singapore, South Korea, etc., with many attractive scholarship and financial aid opportunities.

Foreign Language Training

The core teaching staff of the Center consists of teachers currently teaching at the Foreign Language Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Foreign Languages ​​(Vietnam National University), Hanoi University. All teachers hold bachelor's degrees in foreign languages ​​with good or excellent grades, have completed or are currently pursuing postgraduate training in foreign language teaching methodology, and possess a high sense of responsibility. Many teachers have received further training abroad. In addition, the Center also has a team of collaborating foreign teachers from the United States, Canada, China, South Korea, and other countries.Foreign Language Training Courses:
  • Basic and conversational foreign languages ​​at levels A, B, and C.
  • Basic and advanced grammar (levels B and C)
  • Specialized foreign languages ​​(Tourism, Economics, Banking, Law, etc.) at level above C
  • Translation practice
  • Foreign language entrance exam preparation for graduate and doctoral candidates.
  • Foreign languages ​​for students going abroad.
  • Teaching foreign languages ​​through private tutoring at home.
  • We organize exams to award A, B, and C level foreign language certificates (certificate templates provided by the Ministry of Education and Training).
Course formats include:
  • Admissions are open to all applicants and are organized at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
  • The organization operates under contract with units and individuals in need.

Some achievements

To date, the Center has signed numerous foreign language training contracts with several agencies and organizations both inside and outside the university. The Center has signed many foreign language training contracts with domestic partners, including large-scale state agencies and organizations such as the School of Science and Technology Management - Ministry of Science and Technology, the General Department of Tourism, the Hanoi Customs Department, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Dicom Company, Hanoi Electricity Company, etc., and has received high praise from its partners. Currently, specialized foreign language training is a top priority for the Center. Besides expanding activities within Hanoi, the Center is also planning to expand its training scale and scope of cooperation to other localities.
