The Center for Foreign Languages and International Education Promotion is a unit under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Center was established under Decision No. 971 QD/XHNV-TC of the President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.The center includes 2 departments: International Study Abroad and Foreign Language Training:
International study abroad
The international study abroad program helps students who wish to study abroad choose the most suitable major with prestigious schools and training institutions that are traditional partners of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Currently, the center is recruiting students to study in the UK, Germany, China, Singapore, Korea... with many attractive scholarship and study encouragement opportunities.
Foreign Language Training
The core teaching staff of the Center are teachers who are directly teaching at the Department of Foreign Languages of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Foreign Languages (VNU), Hanoi University. All teachers have a bachelor's degree in foreign languages with good or excellent grades, have or are studying postgraduate courses in foreign language teaching methods, and have a high sense of responsibility. Many teachers have studied abroad. In addition, the Center also has a team of collaborators who are foreign teachers from the United States, Canada, China, Korea, etc.
Foreign Language Training Courses:
- Basic foreign language and communication level A, B, C
- Basic grammar, advanced level B, C
- Specialized foreign language (Tourism, Economics, Banking, Law...) level after C
- Practice translation
- Foreign language entrance exam review for graduate and doctoral candidates
- Foreign languages for studying abroad.
- Teaching foreign languages as a home tutor.
- Organizing exams for granting foreign language certificates A, B, C (Certificate forms of the Ministry of Education and Training).
Course organization forms:
- Free admission, organized at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities
- Organized under contract with units and individuals in need
Some achievements
Up to now, the Center has signed many foreign language training contracts with a number of agencies and organizations inside and outside the school. The Center has signed many foreign language training contracts with domestic partners, including large-scale state agencies and organizations such as the School of Science and Technology Management - Ministry of Science and Technology, General Department of Tourism, Hanoi Customs Department, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Dicom Company, Hanoi Electricity Company, ..., and all received high appreciation from partners. Currently, specialized foreign language training is the area that the Center is interested in and puts in the top position. In addition to promoting activities within Hanoi, the Center also plans to expand the scale of training and scope of cooperation to localities.
