The Center's primary objective is to assemble and build a team of scientists and researchers, both domestic and international, to conduct research programs and disseminate knowledge about the region.
The Center's primary objective is to assemble and build a team of scientists and researchers, both domestic and international, to conduct research programs and disseminate knowledge about the region.The Center is organized on the basis of specific programs to ensure that activities are conducted in the most dynamic and flexible manner. The Center's programs include: a) Regional Studies Research Program; b) Scientific and Training Exchange Program with the region; c) Program for supplementing knowledge of Vietnamese and regional languages ​​and cultures.

Organization and Leadership

Regarding staff: Due to the unique organizational structure of a research center within a university, besides office staff and scientific assistants, the Center does not have full-time research staff. Members of the Board of Directors, the Scientific Advisory Council, and researchers all work on a part-time, short-term, or supplementary basis. Currently, the Center has approximately 20 scientists working as part-time collaborators. The Center's activities are under the direct leadership of the Board of Directors and the Scientific Advisory Council, which includes reputable scholars from both within and outside the country.
