The primary goal of the Center is to gather and build a team of domestic and foreign scientists and researchers to conduct research programs and disseminate knowledge about the region.
The primary goal of the Center is to gather and build a team of domestic and foreign scientists and researchers to conduct research programs and disseminate knowledge about the region.The Center is organized on the basis of specific programs to ensure that activities are carried out in the most dynamic and flexible manner. The Center's Programs include: a) Regional Studies Program; b) Scientific and Training Exchange Program with the region; c) Program for Supplementary Knowledge of Vietnamese and Regional Languages ​​and Cultures.

Organization and Leadership

Regarding staff. Due to the organizational characteristics of a research center under the University, in addition to office staff and scientific assistants, the Center does not have permanent research staff. Members of the Board of Directors, the Scientific Advisory Council and researchers all work part-time, part-time or short-term. Currently, the Center has about 20 scientists working as part-time collaborators. The Center's activities are under the direct leadership of the Board of Directors and the Scientific Advisory Council, including prestigious scholars at home and abroad.
