The course brought together 21 participants, mostly from universities and language and cultural centers in Northern Vietnam. Among them were experts in Linguistics, Anthropology, History, and Cultural Studies, as well as many who had previously taught languages (Vietnamese, English, and German) at reputable training centers.

After two months of study, covering 12 fundamental modules, the trainees were equipped with essential knowledge and skills to practice their profession: knowledge of language and linguistics; knowledge of language teaching methods and Vietnamese language teaching methods; knowledge of the Vietnamese language (phonetics, vocabulary, grammar); and teaching skills both in and outside the classroom. In addition, trainees observed Vietnamese language classes at the department and practiced teaching in groups. The department's leadership also enthusiastically participated in extracurricular activities with the trainees.

In his concluding remarks at the course, Dean Nguyen Thien Nam stated that the unique aspect of this course was that the participants possessed both a very high level of academic achievement (including 5 PhDs) and impressive academic results and interactive spirit. Associate Professor Nguyen Thien Nam also mentioned that, in addition to official training courses, the Faculty also trains Vietnamese language teachers at other institutions such as Cuu Long University or participates in supporting the training of Vietnamese language teachers worldwide, organized in Vietnam or in countries and regions such as Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Taiwan, at the request of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and the Ministry of Education and Training.

On behalf of the university, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan delivered a speech and presented certificates to the students. Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that the students had made the right decision in enrolling in the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language – an institution with a long tradition and continuously affirming its position as a leading and reputable institution in the field of Vietnamese language and Vietnamese studies training. The Vice Rector hoped that, with the knowledge and skills acquired during the course, through the bridge of the Vietnamese language, the students would successfully fulfill their mission of promoting the image of Vietnam to the world.

On behalf of the students, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang – Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hung Vuong University (Phu Tho) shared: the course has brought many interesting experiences to herself and her friends. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang said that although she has taught Vietnamese to foreigners for a few years, only after going through this course did she realize that there are still many horizons of knowledge yet to be explored, and upon returning to Phu Tho, she will certainly do even better in her current work. According to Dr. Thuy Hang, she was very surprised by the friendly, open, and youthful demeanor of the Dean and lecturers of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language. For that reason, she and the students in the class truly want to collaborate with the faculty long-term in the future.

The course concluded just before November 20th, as a meaningful activity to "Celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day" organized by the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language.
