On the morning of March 10, 2010, a delegation from Loei Rajabhat University (Thailand), led by its Rector, Professor Sanit Loengbudnark, visited and worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

In addition to issues such as accepting interns, awarding scholarships, and exchanging teachers, both sides spent considerable time discussing collaborative training programs.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son (Vice Rector), the number of students studying Thai language is still not commensurate with the needs of society. Moreover, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the reputable institutions for teaching Vietnamese. In addition, both sides have many opportunities for cooperation in several fields of social sciences and humanities and management science.

Professor Sanit Loengbudnark proposed several collaborative models such as 2+2, 3+1, and 1+3, and expressed his hope that students would receive degrees from both universities upon graduation.
