On February 26, 2013, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives from the Faculty of History, the Department of External Relations and International Training Cooperation, held a meeting and working session with Professor Shiraishi Masaya - Faculty of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University, Japan.
On February 26, 2013, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives from the Faculty of History, the Department of External Relations and International Training Cooperation, held a meeting and working session with Professor Shiraishi Masaya - Faculty of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University, Japan.During the meeting, the professors exchanged ideas and discussed research topics on Vietnam-Japan relations during World War II. They also discussed activities such as organizing seminars and exhibitions to commemorate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan in 2013. Following this, Professor Shiraishi Masaya visited the Office of the Japan Research Support Program and the Museum of Anthropology. There, he highly praised the university's learning and research facilities. Professor Shiraishi Masaya is a leading expert on modern and contemporary Vietnamese history and international relations. He visited Vietnam in the 1970s, studied and speaks Vietnamese, and is the author of the work "The Vietnamese National Movement and its Relationship with Japan and Asia," which has been published in Vietnamese.
