Offering incense at the Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy

On the morning of February 13, 2013, the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, the staff, lecturers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – VNU respectfully held an incense offering ceremony at the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam. Also participating in the incense offering ceremony were representatives of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - on behalf of the delegation presented a congratulatory letter to Chu Van An, expressing gratitude to the sages and predecessors who had contributed to opening the university and building the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam. Offering incense at the Temple of Literature is a traditional activity of the School every New Year. The incense offering ceremony shows the determination and hope of the School's staff and students for a new year of successful research, teaching and learning that will not disappoint the efforts of the predecessors. Quoc Tu Giam is considered the first university in Vietnam.
