Offering incense at the Temple of Literature – National University.

On the morning of February 13, 2013, the fourth day of the Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake), the faculty, staff, and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, respectfully held a ceremony to offer incense at the Temple of Literature – National University. Representatives from the Board of Directors of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, also participated in the ceremony.Professor Nguyen Van Khanh – the Rector of the University – on behalf of the delegation, presented a congratulatory address to the scholar Chu Van An, expressing gratitude to the sages and ancestors who contributed to the establishment of the university and the construction of the Temple of Literature – National University. Offering incense at the Temple of Literature is a traditional activity of the University every spring. The incense offering ceremony demonstrates the determination and hope of the entire faculty and students for a successful new year of research, teaching, and learning, living up to the contributions of the ancestors. The National University is considered the first university in Vietnam.
