Receiving the Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea

This morning, February 21, 2013, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) received Mr. Kim Chang Il - Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Vietnam - who visited and worked at the University.
This morning, February 21, 2013, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) received Mr. Kim Chang Il - Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Vietnam - who visited and worked at the University.During the meeting, both sides affirmed their desire to strengthen close cooperation between universities in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in many fields. Prior to this, the two sides had already engaged in some initial cooperative activities such as information exchange and sending delegations to visit and learn from each other's experiences in developing science and education. Currently, seven North Korean students are studying at the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language. Professor Nguyen Van Khanh assessed the Ambassador's visit as significant in promoting concrete and in-depth cooperation between the two sides; he also extended an invitation for the Ambassador to speak to the University's students in the near future. In response, Mr. Kim Chang Il invited representatives from the University to visit and work in North Korea in the near future.
