Professor Nguyen Van Khanh visits and works in South Korea.

From October 4th to 7th, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi – made a working visit to South Korea.
From October 4th to 7th, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi – made a working visit to South Korea.During this trip, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh paid an official visit and held a working meeting with the leadership of the Chung-Soo Scholarship Foundation, one of the most renowned scholarship foundations in South Korea. On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the University, the Rector expressed his sincere gratitude to the Foundation's leadership for their special attention to the University's students, demonstrated through the awarding of scholarships to outstanding students in recent years. Furthermore, the leaders of both sides discussed and agreed to organize a seminar in 2013 to exchange experiences among former scholarship recipients and to discuss ways to further develop this international scholarship program. Following this, on October 5th, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh paid an official visit to Daejin University at the invitation of its President, Professor Geun-Young Lee. Although Daejin University is a relatively new institution, established in 1992, it boasts state-of-the-art facilities and a large scale, making it one of the leading universities in South Korea. Currently, it has 10,000 students and 500 faculty and staff members. The university is actively promoting international cooperation with prestigious universities in Asia, including China, Japan, and Vietnam. During the meeting, leaders from both sides exchanged views and agreed on areas of cooperation such as student and faculty exchange programs and co-organization of international conferences. Professor Nguyen Van Khanh and Professor Geun-Young Lee committed to sending faculty members from both universities to participate in two upcoming international conferences: one on the theme of "Comparative Administrative Systems in East Asia," to be held in October 2012 at the University of Commerce, Hanoi, and another to be held in April 2013 in South Korea. The leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Daejin University also discussed co-organizing an international conference at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2014.
