"Melody of Life" is an English singing competition launched by the English Club of the Faculty of International Studies, aiming to create a new, yet familiar and practical English-speaking platform for students, while also contributing to the promotion of cultural and artistic activities among students.* Eligible participants: All students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi). * Registration: - From October 16-18, at the registration desk (Information Room, Building G). - From October 16-21, via email to fisenglishclub@gmail.com (clearly stating the subject "Registration for the English Singing Contest - Melody of Life"), personal information (full name, year of birth, class, department, phone number...), and information about the performance. * Contest format: Includes preliminary round and final round. Preliminary Round: - Time - Location: 4:15 PM on October 23rd at the 8th floor of building E. - Format: Solo performance of one English song (contestants must prepare their own background music). Final Round: - Time - Location: 6:00 PM on October 31st at the 8th floor of building E. - Format: After the preliminary round, the organizers will select the 8 best contestants to advance. In the final round, contestants will have to go through 2 parts of the competition: individual performance and duet with one of the remaining contestants (the organizers will conduct a draw). The order of solo performances and duets will be announced immediately after the results of the finalists are revealed.
